Why we started Kaam Kendra
A placement business built on honesty, accountability, and real ground-level work.
Our story
We knew the problem from the inside
In a previous role, we regularly needed blue-collar staff. Security guards, delivery staff, helpers — the kind of hiring that should be straightforward but never was.
We would post requirements and wait. Sometimes nobody showed up. Sometimes people came for interviews and never joined. Sometimes they joined, stayed two weeks, and left without a word. When we did find someone, there was no guarantee they had the skills they claimed, or that they would turn up reliably once hired.
The problem was not a shortage of workers. There are millions of people looking for exactly this kind of work. The problem was that there was no reliable, accountable way to connect them with employers who needed them.
That experience is why we started Kaam Kendra. We knew what employers actually needed — not just a list of names, but screened, available, committed candidates. And we knew that workers deserved a fair shot at good employment without being exploited by middlemen.
So we built the thing we wished had existed.
Our mission
Connecting honest workers with employers who need them. Fairly, consistently, and without exploitation on either side.
How we work
Both sides of the equation, at the same time
On the employer side
We understand what the role actually requires, what salary is on offer, and what kind of person will fit. We do not send random profiles. We send shortlisted, screened candidates who match the requirement.
On the candidate side
We speak to people directly. We check their ID, understand their background, assess their availability, and only put them forward for roles that are genuinely suitable for them.
When both sides are ready
We make the introduction. We follow up to make sure the placement sticks. If it does not, we go again.
